Our ethos

Your wedding, your way — the way it should be.

We are all unique, with different visions and budgets. So our packages start with what you need, not with what we want to sell.

01

Choice, not forced options.

Packages run from 1 hour through to all day. Whatever your budget or vision, there's a coverage that genuinely fits — and nothing is bundled in because we want it sold.

02

Real moments, naturally.

Quiet preparations, the hand squeeze during vows, the carefree dancing late on. We work gently in the background — gentle direction when it helps, no rigid shot lists.

03

Done across Northern Ireland.

From Belfast City Hall ceremonies to rural venues across Antrim, Down and Fermanagh — almost two decades shooting in NI weather, light and venues.

How wedding photography works

The flow is familiar. The fit is yours.

Every wedding day is different, which is why we don't force couples into rigid photography packages.

Most Northern Irish weddings follow a similar shape — preparations, ceremony, family photos, couple portraits, speeches, evening celebrations. But the timing, locations and atmosphere vary hugely depending on venue, season and personal plans.

Some couples only want coverage of the ceremony and a short portrait session. Others prefer full-day coverage, starting with bridal preparations and finishing once the evening is well underway. Both approaches work — what matters is choosing coverage that fits your day, not someone else's idea of what a wedding should look like.

We're always happy to help couples work out how much photography they actually need, based on their venue, ceremony time and priorities. There's no pressure to decide everything up front — a simple conversation is usually enough.

Short coverage vs all-day coverage

Neither is better — they're different shapes.

The right choice depends on your venue layout, ceremony time and how much of the day you want documented. Here's how we usually frame it.

1, 2 or 3 hour

Short coverage

£150 – £350 · per package

Coverage of the ceremony and a short portrait session, with optional reception arrival. Tight, intentional, no padding.

  • Ceremony and signing
  • Group photos & couple portraits
  • Confetti / venue exterior
  • Optional drinks reception arrival (3 hr)

Ideal forSmaller weddings, registry-office and civil ceremonies (e.g. Belfast City Hall), or couples who just want the key moments captured.

All day

Full-day coverage

£795 · photo only

The full story of the day unfolding naturally — preparations through speeches and into the early evening.

  • Bridal preps (up to one hour)
  • Ceremony in full
  • Drinks reception & group photos
  • Speeches, cake, first dance + 15–20 min after

Ideal forLarger weddings, multi-location venues, or couples who want the whole day documented from start to celebration.

What couples ask us next

You don't have to decide everything today.

One thing we've noticed across nearly two decades photographing weddings in NI: the days that feel most alive are usually the ones where the couple chose the suppliers they genuinely connect with, rather than whatever came standard.

The right starting point is a quick conversation — your venue, ceremony time, rough plans — and we'll come back with a recommended shape (1 hr vs 3 hr, photo only vs photo + video) before you commit to anything.

Bespoke add-ons are welcome too. Bridal preps, engagement shoots, location portraits before the day, an album or wall canvas after — the packages cover the most-requested items but they're not the whole menu.

A note on the evening

Make it an actual night, not a package.

One thing we've noticed: the weddings that feel most alive are the ones where the couple chose music they genuinely care about.

Full disclosure — our daughter fronts Miabella, a Belfast-based act that's started playing weddings with a proper live-show approach: classical piano for the ceremony, acoustic for drinks, full electric in the evening. Not for everyone, but worth a look if you want the evening to feel like a real gig.

Wedding photography · FAQs

Questions we get most weeks.

Do we need a second photographer?

Not always. A second photographer can help for larger weddings, venues with multiple locations, or days where events overlap — for example, preparations happening in different places, or very large guest numbers.

For smaller weddings or venues where everything happens close together, a single photographer is often more than enough to capture the full story of the day.

We're happy to advise once we know your venue, guest numbers and timeline. There's no default "right answer" — it depends entirely on how your day is structured.

What happens if it rains?

Rain is something we're very used to working with in Northern Ireland. We plan for it in advance, using covered areas, indoor spaces and sheltered locations at your venue. Some of the most atmospheric photos happen on overcast days, thanks to softer light and dramatic skies.

If the weather changes, we adapt quickly and keep things relaxed. You don't need a backup plan for every scenario — that's part of our job.

How many photos do we receive?

The number of photos varies depending on how long we're with you and how the day unfolds. As a guide, shorter coverage usually results in a few hundred carefully edited images, while full-day coverage produces a larger, more complete collection.

We don't limit the number of photos delivered. Every image you receive is individually edited and supplied digitally via a private online gallery.

When do we get our gallery?

Your online gallery is typically ready within a few days of your wedding. Each image is individually edited to ensure consistency and quality, and your gallery is delivered digitally, making it easy to view, download and share.

We'll always give you a realistic timeframe after your wedding and keep you updated along the way.

Can we add bespoke items to a package?

Yes — the packages cover the most-requested items, but they're not the whole menu. Bridal preps, engagement shoots, location portraits before the day, an album or wall canvas after, or a wedding video add-on can all be tacked on.

Tell us what you have in mind and we'll work out the cost when we know your plans.

Do you cover destination weddings?

We've shot weddings across Northern Ireland and border areas of the Republic, including coastal and rural locations. Further afield is by request — travel will be quoted on top of the package, and we'll always be upfront about it.
