One hour through to all-day — bridal preps to first dances, the way the day actually happened.

A long-standing favourite just outside Belfast — landscaped gardens, the much-loved gazebo and elegant function suites, all on one easy site. Calm, natural coverage from the morning prep right through to the final dance.
A County Down favourite
Planning a La Mon wedding and looking for a photographer who already knows the gardens, the gazebo and the way the suites flow into the evening?
The La Mon Hotel & Country Club sits in open countryside between Belfast and Comber — just a short hop from our base on the Ards Peninsula. It's a venue we know well: spacious, easy to move around, and set up so the ceremony, the photographs and the reception all happen without anyone having to travel.
What couples love here is how relaxed it feels. The landscaped gardens and the gazebo give you a proper outdoor backdrop for portraits and groups, with sheltered spaces close by for the days the weather turns. It's a venue built for a full day's celebration — which is why all-day coverage tends to suit it best.

Not a rigid shot list — but the moments and corners that almost every La Mon day delivers, from the gardens to the gazebo and on into the evening.
"Everything under one roof, a garden and a gazebo out the back — La Mon is built for a full, easy day of celebrating."Our approach · La Mon Hotel
Storybook · La Mon
La Mon is a relaxed, friendly venue — and that's exactly how we like to work too.
We stay in the background and let the day unfold: the laughter during prep, a quiet word by the gazebo, the dancefloor late on. No rigid posing and no pulling you out of the moment — just honest pictures that feel like the wedding you actually had.
If your budget allows, adding videography is a lovely touch here — the readings, the speeches and the first dance, set against the same gardens.
